Pictured here is a note from Morgan Mengel to lover Steve Shappell while they were both in prison awaiting trial - in which she lies and tells him she's given birth to his twins Kevin Mengel's family were worried when he disappeared one day in 2010 - and his wife Morgan claimed he'd left her and their three kids. Family members started getting text messages from Kevin, telling them he was OK not to push him. Then his Facebook page status changed to him 'wanting to be left alone'. But his family didn't believe what Morgan was telling them - and went to the police. At first the police didn't do anything as they said Kevin was texting and communicatingh with his family. But after his brother Chris bought a video camera and shot footage of Morgan's toy boy lover Steve Shappell leaving their home - the cops stepped in. Shappell fled in his truck while Morgan was hauled into the cop shop and questioned - where she finally admitted the Kevin was dead - and claimed Steve had murdered him by first poisoning his Snapple drink with liquid nicotine and then hitting him over the head with a shovel. Morgan denied she had anything to do with the murder - but when cops finally caught up with Shappell 2,000 miles away he had a different story to tell and claimed Morgan was the mastermind. Shappell agreed to testify against Morgan for a lesser charge but still got 40-80 years in prison. Just hours before her trial kicked off Morgan changed her plea to pre-meditated murder to guilty and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
