Pictured here is: David Draheim in court A killer who posed as a cop jailed after 18 years. David Draheim killed a lonely jogger in 1986 after pretending to be a policeman. His victim was 35-year-old divorcee Jeanette Kirby. Draheim killed her and sliced her tracksuit. He also tied her hands behind her back with plastic cuffs called 'flexi-cuffs' which are only used by police officers. Cops couldn't connect Draheim to the murder until they got definitive forensic evidence. They were helped by his former best friend who told them that he gave Draheim the plastic cuffs. Forensic scientists examined the cuffs found at the scene with the ones that Draheim's friend had to prove they came from the same batch. In 2001 he was tried and found guilty of murder.
