Brave Hannah Jones, 13, managed to persuade dozens of doctors, barristers and child protection officers that she was mature enough to make the decision to die in dignity amongst her family. Her parents Andrew and Kirsty were told that a locum GP had applied to have her removed from their care and placed on the donor list in hospital because they were "preventing her treatment." But the defiant teenager spoke to officials at length from her sickbed at home and convinced them to call off the High Court hearing and respect her wishes.
