The Mexican writer accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and eating parts of her body was found dead hanging by his belt in a prison cell on December 11, 2007, the prison service said. Zepeda was arrested on suspicion that he murdered a woman whose whole leg, and part of her arm were found in his refrigerator, her arm bones, which had been boiled, were in a cereal box and the rest of her body in a cupboard, according to police.
