Neighbour dispute ends with murder of a couple

Pictured here is: Elizabeth Grimes, Mel Grimes Elizabeth Grimes and her husband Mel were loving their life together in Carmel Valley, CA - until a new neighbour moved in. Soon they were locked in a feud with John Kenney, firstly over a bridge to their properties that needing repairing and then over as small 4ft by 10ft piece of land owned by Kenney that the Grimes needed to drive over every day to reach their carport. The row escalated when Kenney placed a large boulder on the land, blocking in the Grimes' cars. Elizabeth called 911 to ask the police for assistance - and everything was caught on tape as the couple rowed with Kenney - before he pulled out a gun and shot them both dead. Kenney was charged with murder and a jury found him guilty and he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
