Lashanta vowed to lose 50lbs a month and went back home with JT - but shortly afterwards he dumped her and she fell into a depress and lost just 3lbs. Lashanta admitted: “In the last couple of weeks, things have been really bad because JT and I broke up, I knew he was worried about me losing too much weight, but I still thought I had the support to do this. Then he said if I lost the weight, he wouldn’t be attracted to me anymore. And then he left me. So I don’t know what to do right now. Without JT, I don’t have anyone to help me no more. So I’m really depressed about this because it feels like every time I try to turn my life around and get my head above water, it just feels like something’s there to trip me up and drag me back down.” But Lashanta didn't give up and started therapy and apologized to her eldest son Tyrone who is currently in jail. He forgave her and she then went on to shed 133lbs.
