Exactly a week after the arrest of Gandhi, whom he succeeded as leader of the campaign for Indian Independence, Abbas Tyabji, the 80-year old Moslem was arrested today at Navsari, near Bombay together with 59 of his followers, who were accompanying him on a march to the Salt depot at Dharsana. Now that the two Indian leaders have been arrested, a woman has taken comman of the anti-British campaign. She is Mrs. Sarojini Naidu, who is the only woman who has ever been president of the Indian National Congress. She was educated at King's College in London and at Girton College, Cambridge. O.P.S.
