Mother in law from hell helps catch her daughter's killer

She will also admit that she hates her son-in-law David Pietz and hounded him constantly. She would call him in the early hours of the morning and leave him messages, she even hounded his work colleagues, telling them stories about Pietz. The final straw came when she left a wig, soaked in red ink to look like blood, on his doorstep one Halloween. But despite waging her campaign of harassment she refused to stop Ð or admit she was doing anything wrong. In fact Gael wholeheartedly believed that Pietz deserved everything he got Ð because in her heart she knew he had murdered his wife Ð and her daughter Ð Nicole. And in the end GaelÕs determination paid off when police finally took notice of her, launched an investigation and finally arrested and charged Pietz with murder. He was found guilty by a jury six years after Nicole's naked and strangled body was found dumped in a field and sentenced to 18 years in prison.
