Pictured here is: Doris McLeod's body Police were left baffled when a young girl's body turned up in a field close to Milwaukee. She had been beaten and mutilated, with both her hands chopped off . Her hands were found 5 days later but still couldn't help cops ID her. She was buried with Jane Doe marked on her gravestone. Investigators had taken pictures of her face and removed the bruises and sent out the cleaned up images to the press - and soon afterwards got a tip that she was a teen called Doris McLeod, who had run away from a foster home and had been set to work by a pimp called Joseph White. Detectives went to White's house but he escaped - but there they found their smoking gun - White's 3 year-old son Joseph Jnr - who willingly told officers about 'Dee Dee' who slept in the basement - and the monster that had hurt her down there. White was found and charged with first degree murder. He represented himself in court but his own's son's testimony helped put him away and he was sentenced to prison. He will not be eligible for parole until 2074 - the year of Doris' 100th birthday.
