Jack was beaten to death with an African club as he watched TV at his waterfront home in Lake Asbury, near Jacksonville, Florida, after one of Linda's accounts firm clients Donald Bradley, and two brothers Brian and Patrick McWhite attacked him. Bradley has been sentenced to death for his part in the murder in November 1995 and the brothers were given ten years jail for third degree murder.
