Real life Thelma and Louise found guilty of murder

Pictured here is: Brian Davis and Robyn Davis Robyn Davis and Carol ÔSissyÕ Saltzman are best friends - and a real life Thlema and Louise. You won't find two women who are closer. These days their 20-year friendship is more important than ever, since they've been charged with murder - together - after Robyn's husband was shot to death alongside his car on an isolated road. Both women adamantly deny the charge Ð but theyÕve been branded the real life Thelma and Louise by cops investiating the case. Brian's murder was made to look like a car jacking gone wrong - but investigators soon realised there was more to the crime scene than meets the eye. And after learning of Brian's extra-marital affairs that Robyn found out about they realised that Robyn and her best pal Sissy had joined forces to shoot him at point blank range on a deserted road. The two women were both charged with murder - and the case went before a jury. But after just a few hours the jury came back with 11 in favour of guilty and one voting not guilty. In most states, this would've meant a mistrial and Robyn and Sissy walking free from court. But in Louisiana, it just need 10 out of 12 to vote guilty for a conviction. The women were sentenced to life in prison - and are now housed together in the same jail.
