Nov. 11, 1962 - LCC's ''one-Hour'' Houses Erected: The first of a series of new-style London County Council Houses which take less than an hour to erect were put up in Florida Street, Bethnal Green, this afternoon. The homes, which cost ~1,240 each to build and rent at ~3 a week, are part of the LCC's programme to provide 2,000 mobile house by the end of next year.
