Nov. 11, 1962 - LCC's ''One-hour'' House Erected: The first of a series of new style London County Council Houses which takes less than an hour to erect were put up in Florida Street, Bethnal Green, this afternoon. The homes, which coast ~1,240 each and rent at~3 a week, are part of the LCC's programme to provide 2,000 mobile houses by the end of the next year.
