Sep. 09, 1955 - Home Secretary Calls For Report On The Comer And Dimes Cases: The home Secretary today called for a police report concerning the cases of Jack Comer, also known as Jack Spot, and Albert Dimes. A Scotland Yard Spokesman Said: ''we are making inquires into various aspects of these tow cases and a report of these inquires will be sent to the Home Secretary. Jack Comer was acquitted on Friday by an Old Bailey jury of wounding Albert George Dimes in a knife fight in Fifth Street, Soho.
