JENKINS BECOMES THE NEW CHANCELLOR A portrait of Mr Roy Jenkins, who is to succeed Mr James Callaghan as the new Chancellor of the Exchequer. Mr Callaghan takes over Mr Jenkins former post of Home Secretary. The change over was announced from Downing Street this afternoon. 29 November 1967
