Adenauer in Greece

German chancellor Konrad Adenauer (3rd of right) visits the Greek national museum in Athens on the 13th of March in 1954 during a state visit lasting several days. Adenauer was first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1949 to 1963 and at the same time foreign minister from 1951 to 1955. His politics were especially shaped by social market economy and the unification of Europe.
