Nov. 11, 1962 - Christmas trees by the wall in the West and East Berlin: On Wednesday 28.11. the West Berlin citizens planted Christmas trees in the West-Sectors near the wall. As symbols of freedom and peace the Christmas trees shall send the light over the wall to East Berlin a days ago in East Berlin are also erected Christmas trees near the wall.
