Nov. 17, 1967 - 17-11-67 Marianne Faithfull and Alain Delon at the circus for new film Ãø€âäœ Marianne Faithfull and Alain Delon, stars of the Anglo-French production Girl on a Motorcycle, spend a day at the circus for dream scenes in this lyrical love drama, directed by Jack Cardiff, and co-produced by William Sassoon and Sacha Kamenka, for distribution by British Lion. Wearing her black leather motor cycling suit designed especially for her by Lanvin, Marianne circles round the sawdust ring on a circus horse while Alain who plays her lover Daniel in the film crack a commanding whip as ringmaster. The film has just returned from shooting in Geneva, Strasbourg and Heidelberg for two weekÃø€â„øs filming at Shepperton.
