AN ANGRY MOB BREAKS DOWN THE DOOR OF A GUESTHOUSE IN CILEUNGSI

JAK03:INDONESIA-PROSTITUTION:CILEUNGSI,INDONESIA,28SEP98 - An angry mob breaks down the door of a guesthouse in Cileungsi, on the outskirts of Jakarta September 28. Around 100 people attacked and torched a three-hectare complex of nightclubs and guesthouses which locals said was a centre for prostitution. No casualties were reported. Outbreaks of violance and rioting have been on the increase in Indonesia in recent weeks amid a savage economic downturn which has pushed millions into poverty and sent food prices soaring.
