Aug. 22, 1963 - Norwegian Government Expected to Resign it was expected in Oslo today that the Norwegian Socialist government which has been in power for 28 years, would resign. They face a vote of no-confidence, and the small Socialist Democratic party which, although it has only two members ,holds the balance of power as the twom major parties have 74 members each, has declared it's intention to vote against the Socialist. Assuming that this happens, the socialist premier Einar Gerhardsen who has been in office since 1945 (excepting 1951/5) will resign, and the leader of the Conservatives, 58-year-old Jon Lyng will from a coalition with the Socialist Democrats.
