Aug. 08, 1963 - Mild and Bitter with a Difference.: Landlord John Blay who spent 14 years in Africa before taking over the Nag's head inn at Hockley Heath, Wewick has turned the Inn into an African-style pub. The pub specialises in African food and music , and another attraction is John's collection of parrots, crocodiles and lizards, and now there is an added attraction in the shape of two three his customers that dogs must not be taken into the pub in any circumstances, and that customers must not approach the cubs without permission.
