Malcolm X home bombed New York : Malcolm X returns to his home today after a fire bomb had been thrown into the house early today while the black nationalist leader , his wife and four daughters slept inside. Malcolm , his wife and daughters were not injured , but the house suffered heavy damage from fire and smoke . Burned furniture and household possessions litter the street . Police said they had no clues to the identity of the bomb thrower . The bomb was thrown into the house only a few hours after Malcolm had returned from a trip to England . 14 February 1965
