Oct. 29, 1950 - Tomorrow the dramatic mass-murderer trial begins in Braunschweig. More than ten deaths are laid at the doorstep of the former police officer put in place by the Soviets. Rudolf Pleil lauded himself as having an even higher body count(always women and children). The accused is pictured left writing his memoirs. He named them ''Mein Kampf'' and, as you can see he lists his profession as ''Totmacher'' or ''Killer. (Credit Image: © Keystone Pictures USA/ZUMAPRESS.com)
