Festival Hall in the garden city of Dresden-Hellerau, 1912

Festival Hall Hellerau was constructed according to the plans of the architect Heinrich Tessenow in 1911. Between 1912 and 1914 it became the centre of the European Avantgarde. It was built into the first German garden city as a training center for rhythmical gymnastics, an educational establishment following Jaques-Dalcroze. Foto: SZ-Photo / IBL Bildbyrå
