Nov. 20, 1968 - The Leaning tower of Domazlice, Czechoslovakia; Like Pids, the picturesque old West Bohemian town if Domazlice has its leaning tower. The tower, which domineers the Chedovian region, is inclining by 1 centimetre annually. According to measurements taken by chance in 1900 the deviation was 32 cm, in 1936 it was 65 cm and today it is slanting to 85cm. The problem of how to prevent further slanting is now being considered as it is not possible to straighten the tower. (Credit Image: © Keystone Pictures USA/ZUMAPRESS.com)
