INJURED SOCCER FAN IS HELPED BY FRIENDS DURING CLASHES

BAS03:ARGENTINA-FANS:BUENOS AIRES,19DEC97 - An injured Argentine soccer fan is helped by friends after police blasted them with high pressure water hoses and tear gas when they tried to break through the fence onto the playing field during one of the last matches of this season's League championship between archrivals San Lorenzo and Huracan December 19. One fan was killed and another reported in serious condition following the street clashes that ensued between fans of both teams as they spilled out of the stadium to continue the battle.
