ROM02:ITALY-JACKSON:ROME,4FEB97 - Pop star Michael Jackson leaves Rome's court after he made a lightning trip to Rome to answer allegations of plagiarism in a lawsuit brought by an Italian singer, February 4. The American performer spoke for about 75 minutes in court in the city's huge justice complex, denying accusations that he copied the song "Will You Be There" from his 1991 "Dangerous" album from a composition by the Italian, Al Bano.
