Orig bildtext... BERNARD SHAW HURT IN CAR CRASH. 19. 2. 32. Mr. George Bernard Shaw, still in the infancy of his career as a motorist, had a disastrous adventure yesterday evening. Mr Shaw, who is on a holiday visit to South Africa, was badly bruised and shaken, and Mrs. Shaw suffered an injured wrist, when their motor car, driven by the author, plunged into a ditch at Messel Bay, Knysna, South Africa. Mr. and Mrs. Shaw received medical attention at Knysna. Mr. Shaw has been driving a car since 1904, and recently passed stiff tests for his licence in South Africa. O. P. S.
