Vietnam South U.S. Dead

A U.S. Army chaplain offers a prayer over the casket of one of seven U.S. Army men who died in the crash of their helicopter in South Viet Nam on January 4, before it is loaded aboard plane at Tan Son Nhut, South Viet Nam on Jan. 14, 1963. The bodies of all seven were to be flown to the United States. Mechanical difficulty was blamed for the accident and Viet Cong Communist ground fire was virtually ruled out as cause of the crash.
