World Series Cardinals v Tigers 1934

This view of the outbreak in the seventh game of the World Series in Detroit on Oct. 9, 1934 shows a group of St. Louis Cardinals players on left field as they were the targets of hog dog buns, a few pop bottles, hundreds of scorecards and other objects. The argument arose over a decision at third base and was taken up by the fans. St. Louis won the seventh game and the series with a 11 to 0 score. (AP Photo)
